Who Is Tukula?
TuKula(Too‑Coo‑Lah)
is a published author born and raised in Chicago. From a young age, she discovered a love for creative expression, writing poetry, songs, and affirmations throughout her teenage years.
Her passion for public speaking and entertainment led her to create opportunities for local artists to shine. She founded the “Chocolate City Showcase (CCStv),” a talent showcase designed to give Chicago’s creative community a platform to display their gifts. After several successful years highlighting emerging talent, she transitioned into media journalism and launched an online media show. Through this platform, she interviewed countless celebrities, aiming to one day take the show mainstream.
Although that chapter didn’t unfold as expected, the journey reminded her of the true passion that had always been at the core of her creativity—writing.
Embracing that calling once again, she returned to her craft with renewed purpose and a commitment to share her voice with the world.... One book at a time.
